The Kitchen Is Closed...

Maybe I will never have to worry about cooking....because it seems as though Libbi's favorite thing to eat (well, besides the obvious) is....HER HANDS!! We laugh because she is not at all subtle about her new love affair. We can hear her smacking and grunting away morning, noon, and night! For now we are thrilled with her new discovery, because not only does it keep her occupied (so momma can blog, of course!) but it is also a wonderful "self-soother" for her in the middle of the night. You know, those nights when it's not quite time for her next feeding or Momma is too tired to roll out of bed just yet (which rarely happens....ha ha ha). As long as she finds a new favorite "snack" by the time she starts preschool we won't worry about it.

There really is nothing like lying in the pitch black in the dead of night and hearing your child chowing down on her own appendages.
