She has either learned to totally ignore me or she is just used to me by now (maybe a little bit of both - ha!)because her minor bought of stage fright is O-V-E-R. She constantly lets loose with squeals, coos, and other unbelievably cute baby noises. Of course, I talk back to her and me and my baby can just carry on a conversation for hours (okay, not really hours, but for at least five minutes)!
In addition to talking to my sweet girl all day, I also talk to my mom at least 3 times a day. Just like me and Libbi, my mom and I can carry on conversations for hours about a whole lot of nothin' (and we really can talk for hours!) I'll call my mom to vent, cry, catch up, laugh, and share (okay fine, gossip). As much as I love talking TO sweet Libbi, it's nice to know that I have my mom to talk WITH. I can't wait for the day that Libbi will talk WITH me! But until then, I will cherish the sweet sounds coming out of her mouth (even if they are directed more towards the ceiling fans and lights than me!)
Here is a cute little video of Libbi sending a
"shout-out" to her daddy at work.
(don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and "stop" the music so you can hear Libbi...)
And just to show you that she may be perfect, but she's not ALWAYS so sweet....here's one more short clip of our baby with an attitude!
