20 questions - Christmas edition...

1. Eggnog or hot chocolate? hot chocolate....does anybody really like eggnog??  seriously...anybody?? I love "cheap" hot chocolate.  You know, the kind you can get at a gas station or a concession stand.  I think I have only been to a Starbucks MAYBE five times in my life, but a concession stand.....too many to count!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree? Santa started out just displaying everything without wrapping it....but then I think Santa started to figure out that he couldn't trust *some people*, so he began wrapping the gifts.

3. Colored lights or white? Only white.


4.Do you hang mistletoe? No....

5. When do you decorate for Christmas? This year I started the week of Thanksgiving....I would start decorating in September if I could.  Actually, if it was socially acceptable, I would leave my decorations up year round.


6. What is your favorite holiday dish, excluding dessert? BREAKFAST!  We always eat a slammin' Christmas morning breakfast.  Breakfast casserole and Paula's french toast....to. die. for!


7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? getting a trampoline.  Hands down. Best Christmas ever!

8. When and how, did you learn the truth about Santa? Oh....so sad. =(
Late elementary school, but I have tried to block out that memory - ha!


10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? the more ornaments....the better!  Right now, our tree is mostly color coordinated (reds, greens, golds, and a little brown) But I'm sure once Libbi starts making her own little ornaments at school and church, then the color scheme will surely change!


11. Snow. Love it or hate it? Love it....IF a) I am skiing OR b) I am at home....otherwise - hate it.


12. Can you ice skate? No....but I sure can watch it on TV


13. Do you remember your favorite gift? There have been too many to count!  Probably last year when Jeffrey gave me this very sweet figurine in honor of being pregnant.


14. What is the most important thing about the holidays to you? Celebrating the birth of our Savior and spending time with our family!

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? oh my word....there are waaaaay too many to count!  But, I would have to say Christmas cookies.  I love me a good Christmas cookie!  Sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles, the peanut butter cookies with a hershey kiss in the middle, oreos dipped in white chocolate...and the list goes on and on.  I have rarely met a cookie I don't like.


16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Christmas breakfast with the family...but I am excited to start some new ones with Libbi, too!


17. What tops your tree? Big gold bow with a lot of red, glittery picks and a few flowers.


18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving? It's always better to give than to receive!


19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer OR I Wanna Hippopotamus for Christmas...I'm not kidding! :0)


20. Candy canes. Yuck or yum? ummmm.....if there is no other candy available then I will eat one....so, yum, I guess.
