It has been a few weeks since I have confessed all my "Not Me" moments, but I have decided to 'fess up once again, so here are a few for your reading enjoyment!
I did NOT forget to take Libbi's bottle down to her classroom so she could eat her "breakfast" this week. Her teacher did NOT have to walk down the hall to come get it out of my classroom fridge. She did NOT have to come back a mere five minutes later because the bottle I brought for Libbi had NO nipple! I did NOT fill the bottle with milk, screw on the little white top (with no nipple inside) and put a cap on it without even noticing! I did NOT wonder why it had leaked a little in the car on the way to school, but NOT bother to find out why....
Libbi's teachers did NOT find a small collection of cardboard inside her tights. It was NOT remnants of the cardboard insert that came inside the tights when I bought them last week. I did NOT wash these tights along with the cardboard and unknowingly put them on her....cardboard crumbs and all.
I did NOT just find out that there is not a "nursery" at the hospital where I delivered Libbi...I know, I know.....this is SO shocking, it deserves a post all of it's own....I'll post the full story tomorrow.
Libbi surely did NOT start crawling ALL.OVER.THE.PLACE before we have "baby-proofed" anything! We have NOT quickly figured out why people "baby-proof." Our leather ottoman is NOT in front of the fireplace. Our couch pillows are NOT surrounding the coffee table. There is NOT a play mat blocking a flower arrangement. And we most certainly do NOT have tiny handprints on our entertainment center.
Our living room does NOT look like an obstacle course. And despite our best attempts to keep her out, Libbi does NOT find a way into all the little nooks and crannies anyway!
Finally, I did NOT commit to participating in "Mommy and Me Mondays" and then forget to take a picture of Libbi and I together. I did NOT set the self timer on our camera on Sunday night and try to get a picture of the two of us. It is NOT the only picture I have of us from this past week....oops! I am NOT promising to try a little harder to get a decent picture made of us this week!
