- We went shopping yesterday while Jeffrey played golf. I got Libbi lots of cute things on sale at Baby Gap (love, love, love when they have their onesies for $2.99!). I came home and washed everything so it would be ready for her to wear this week...
- I shouldn't have wasted my time. Libbi has had to change clothes THREE times today. This has been the trend since last week when she started taking a new antibiotic for her ear infections. We found out a couple of weeks ago that Libbi is allergic to penicillin, so she started a new medicine. Although it is working wonders for her ears, it's not doing too much for her stomach. Which leads me to my next item of randomness...
- I am VERY tired of doing laundry...I pretty much do a load of laundry as soon as we walk in the door every day because we are bringing home dirty clothes from school. I am not ashamed to admit that last week I threw away an outfit instead of washing it. She was pretty close to outgrowing it anyway and it just wasn't worth it to try to salvage it for one more wear.
- We went to church yesterday and Libbi cried the entire time. I guess I don't know that for a fact since I wasn't in there, but I could pretty well guess that's what happened. She began screaming with the initial hand-off and when we came back to pick her up, she was still crying. I believe their exact words were, "she wasn't a happy camper today." ugh. She's usually a VERY happy camper - there's just something about the church nursery that sets her off....I wish I knew what it was.
- On a brighter note, I am proud to announce that Libbi has been sleeping LIKE A CHAMP!!!! I am almost too scared to even post this for fear that she will make a complete 180 come tomorrow night, but for a solid week now she has been sleeping at least 12 hours a night! I have really tried to nail down our bedtime routine and it seems to be working. woohoo! Now, if I could just start sleeping through the night we'd be in business! ;0)
- I think I have lost my mind. I am starting "Boot Camp" tomorrow. That's right...I said "Boot Camp." I'm not sure what I was thinking when I signed up for this. When I told Jeffrey, he said, "You do know what boot camp is, don't you?!?!" and I wasn't even offended, because I was just as shocked as he was! I will let you know how it goes....but if you don't hear from me for the rest of the week...feel free to assume the worst.....
- Finally, we only took a few "Mommy and Me" pictures this past week. It's getting harder and harder to get Libbi to look at the camera, because she is just too busy to slow down and take a picture! This is us before church on Sunday (hence the look of calm on her face...)
This last one is one that I took of us when we got home from school. Don't let the PJ's fool you...it was only 3:45 in the afternoon. But, after three outift changes for our sweet girl, I figured we may as well just go ahead and get her all jammied up no matter what time it was. I set the self-timer and tried to get a good pic, but they all turned out kind of blurry....oh well! At least we tried :)
I hope everyone had a great Monday! Say a prayer for me to make it through Boot Camp in one piece tomorrow! ha!
