Some days we make it out to the park (but only before 9am, because it is already 90 degrees by 10:00!)
Some days we go to the library to "read" some books and play on the computers
Some days we stay in our "jammies" all day, and I bring out the "big guns" aka the markers and craft supplies leftover from when I taught Kindergarten.
Some days we color and put stickers on the foam circles, some days we use them as plates for goldfish, and some days we do all three....
Some days we wear matching outfits and have photoshoots....just because.
Some days we put on bathing suits, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. We pack our bags, load up the car, and get ready to play in the "fountains"....only to find out that they aren't turned on until 10:30 and we have arrived at 9:30. And just playing in the park until the water is turned on isn't an option, because the grass is being"fertilized." (This particular day Libbi kept saying "eww.....poo-poo!" and I had to agree - yuck!)
So, some days, we just go on home and I fill up the baby pool on the front porch for Libbi while Laney snoozes inside in front of the window so we can see her.
Some days Libbi lines up beanie babies and has a pow-wow.....
and some days Momma is obviously not invited!
Some days we don't even bother getting dressed (and by "we" I mean everyone under the age of two...ha!) because it is so hot outside!
Some days, Libbi gets excited to go stay with the grandparents so Momma can stay home and spend time with baby sister and catch up on chores :)
Some days I feel like all I do is change poopy diapers and feed babies from the minute I wake up until the minute I lay down at night (and it actually continues even after that since we do middle of the night feedings/diaper changes....)
Some days Libbi tee-tee's in the potty and we get ice cream to celebrate.
Some days, she would rather wear a diaper.
Some days are crazy, some days are hectic, some days are monotonous, some days are stressful, some days are fun, some days are memorable, some days are full of laughter, some days are full of tantrums....
but all of our days are a blessing :)
