exciting things going on around the blog. not only did i get a fabulous makeover (thanks to sweetie baby's designs) but i am now officially total tippins takeover DOT com.

another exciting new venture for this little ole blog is the addition of sponsors. it's an excellent way to gain exposure for your business, blog, site, etc. if you have an etsy shop, small business, big business, blog, or personal page that you'd like to promote this is a great way to do it! help me help you! if you're interested in placing an ad on the blog, check out the "sponsors" tab at the top of the page for more info.

as far as our weekend goes, it was pretty laid back (aka: boring) other than date night with jeffrey on saturday night, i didn't get out of the house. both girls have been a little under the weather with colds and teething (laney) so we've had lots of stay-at-home-in-our-pjs's days around here
i'm hoping this week will be a little more productive. i've made it a goal to get up before everyone else (or at least at the same time jeffrey does) in the mornings. i'm hoping that will give me a little bit of time to myself to do my quiet time, blog, shower or just use the bathroom in peace, whatever. :) so far today was a success. i was up with jeffrey, made his lunch, checked emails, did my bible study, and got ready all before the girls woke up. and it was a good thing, because as soon as the girls were up, things weren't so quiet any more.
{my sweet and precious libbi decided she would be a helper and put the top on her cup by herself while i was putting the milk back in the fridge. needless to say, she was promptly fired and banished from the kitchen ;-) funny story though - i told her to go back into the playroom while i cleaned up the mess. i was actually very calm (so calm that i think it may have scared her - ha!) and i just went about cleaning it up so we could eat breakfast. while i was cleaning i could hear her talking to laney and saying, "yay-knee... it's just ALL my fault! allllll myyyyy fault!! you hear me, yay-knee?! i said it's all my fault!!" (insert a face to the floor pose and wail or two) she is SO dramatic. and i have no idea where she got "it's all my fault" from???? funny girl.}
