libbi has a blessing that she sings at school before they eat lunch. she likes to sing it at home before supper - or really whenever the mood strikes. ;-)
she'll usually preface the actual prayer we say before meals with her own personal blessing. laney has gotten pretty fond of it, too. we've noticed that she now says her own "blessing" before she eats anything! i have no idea what she's saying (singing?) but she typically follows it up with a hearty, "AMEN!"
I caught both the girls on video the other day saying their "blessings"
it should be noted that when they sing the blessing at libbi's school they say, "ah-men" (we usually say A-men) so libbi feels certain that they're saying, "oh, man!"
