i love this song and i thought of it often while we were at the beach this past week while watching my girls run in the ocean and letting the waves chase them. they weren't afraid of the waves overcoming them, they were just joyfully running in the midst of them. there was a peace in the air as they ran in and out of the water, up and down the shore, knowing that they were safe and in the presence of something much bigger than they could ever comprehend. i pray that i would have that same peace and joy even when the waves crash around me. that i won't focus on the unknown, but rest in The One who knows.
